The Tears Shall Be Wiped
There are a lot of tears in our world, a lot of heartache, a lot of pain. When we get to heaven, the Scripture talks about how God will wipe away the tears. There will be no more tears, no more pain, no more loss. But while we’re here on earth, God is counting on us to wipe away the tears, to lift the fallen, to nourish the weak, to encourage those who are down.
You can breathe life back into someone’s spirit, your kind words can set their dreams back into motion, and your encouragement can be what causes them to step into their purpose.
It’s easy to doubt; it’s easy to give up on dreams. Doubters are a dime a dozen. Negative people, discouraged people, you can find them everywhere. God is looking for people who have a made-up mind, absolutely convinced people, people who overflow with hope, people who believe when the odds are against them, who believe when they don’t see a way.
One of the best things I’ve learned is to trust God’s timing and trust His ways. What God promised will come to pass, but it may not happen the way you think; it may not be when you had planned.
If you’re trying to control the outcome and control the timeframe, you’re going to live worried. You have to release control. Release having to have it happen your way.
You may be facing situations that you don’t see how they could work out. You could live worried, stressed, but you have to shift your perspective from the how to the who. Who you are is more powerful than any force that’s trying to stop you. You’re not just anyone; you belong to the Most-High God. He breathed life into you; He chose you.
The good news is He’s backing you up. He has the hows already figured out. There’s no giant too big for Him, no sickness too great, no addiction too powerful, no obstacle too strong.
Words of encouragement are necessary in a person’s life to flourish. God has equipped us with the ability to nourish the souls of others through our kind words. Every time we speak kind words to the people around us, we are helping them build confidence to accomplish God’s purpose.
Some forces don’t want you to take new ground. When the enemy sees you start to make progress, he’ll send the storm, the waves, the winds. But that’s when God will step up and say, “Peace be still.
” The storm can’t stop our God; He controls the winds. What’s come against you is not a sign that you’re stuck; it’s a sign that promotion is coming. The storm is a sign that God is close to the shore. You’re about to see things change in your favor.
